Review: Fundamentals for fashion retail ARITHMETIC, MERCHANDISE ASSORTMENT PLANNING AND TRADING
Fundamentals for fashion retail ARITHMETIC, MERCHANDISE ASSORTMENT PLANNING AND TRADING by Charles Nesbitt
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Not much to say about this book other than it is a solid introduction into the world of assortment planning and trading. Nesbitt provides an overview into the topic, the key roles and teams involved and then dives into all aspects such as definitions, considerations, calculations while defining what success (and failure) looks like.
It is certainly a great beginners book to understand all aspects of the planning process through to merchandising. Other than it being a basic book, the biggest piece of feedback here is that the print of the book is terrible where some of the diagrams just couldn’t be read very well at all.
